Telecenter Program

Telecenters are public places for shared access to the Internet and other information and communication technologies. Gems of the Earth is developing a rural telecenter program in Brazil since 2002, where a self-sustainable model is being pursued. We believe telecenters to be the most cost effective tool to accelerate universal access to the Information Society. Our experience in Brazil is valuable in other parts of the world.
